Bismarck Concrete & Masonry was founded in 2018 by a crew that grew up in Bismarck and understood one thing clearly: this climate is hard on masonry. The freeze-thaw cycles that run from late fall through early spring crack mortar joints, shift foundations, and open gaps in chimneys that let water in where it does not belong. A lot of masonry companies treat those problems as simple line items. We treat them as systems that need to be understood before they can be fixed.

Since 2018, we have worked on homes all across Bismarck and into the surrounding communities - from the older brick homes near the Capitol grounds to the newer subdivisions on the south and west sides of the city. We have seen what decades of North Dakota winters do to concrete, brick, and block, and we have spent those years developing approaches that hold up in this specific climate rather than just looking good at job completion.
